Bondi – Coogee walk

Today we went for an amazing walk from Bondi to Coogee, the weather was excellent, about 66F so we really enjoyed the beautiful blue sky and clear ocean. I was really impressed by the cliff where we were walking on, (better not to be scared of heights). We prefered to climb on the rocks instead of  walking on the trail, it was more fun but more frightening! The entire stroll took us about 2 hours (include the 300 pictures we took), my favorite part was Tamara beach, so pretty!!! I definitely can’t wait to see Sydney during the summer time, should be even prettier than it is right now. To end this beautiful day, what was better than a drama!? Let me explain to you, we were all the way up on the rocks when I saw downstairs, close to the ocean a couple taking pictures right after the wave crashing on the rocks. I looked at my friend and he said, ‘’I know, you want the same picture?’’ He knows me so well… So …

The press lounge & Flex Mussels

I really hate jet lag, today I set my alarm for 9 am but it was impossible for me to wake up. I was like in a coma or something. I finally woke up at 1 pm completely exhausted, hopefully I don’t have to work!!! I did all my laundry and it’s taken me a while. Tonight my friend and I went to The press lounge for the sunset, the view is amazing from there, it’s one of my favorite rooftop. After we went to Flex Mussels for dinner, I took the lobster one, it was divine. Its the first time I have been in this place and I will definitely go back again!! They have almost 20 different choice of mussel meal, that’s really tough to choose… We took the four donut dessert, the chocolate, the smors dipping vanilla, the cinnamon sugar and the caramel salty. I’m feeling very full from those foods and drinks, but sometimes you have to treat yourself right!? Je déteste vraiment être jet-lag… Ce matin j’ai mis mon réveil …

Bye bye Hawaii

Last day in Hawaii, last day of vacation and especially last day with my best friend…. I can’t believe how fast time goes. It’s already the end of the travel we planned since months!!! As every end this one is very sad, we had so much fun during this entire trip, Vegas, Canyons, Los Angeles, Maui and Oahu. I’m feeling blessed to live this life and share all these adventures with my best friends. This trip made our friendship even stronger!! Anyway, let me tell you about our last day in the middle of the pacific ocean… We started our day with a good breakfast at Lulu’s in Waikiki, after we went to Hanauma bay for snorkelling, it’s a natural park with entrance fee. The beach is unreal, the water is translucent and we found a lot of coal and fish!! We spend our afternoon working on our tans and snorkelling, was one of the most excellent days since the beginning. After we wanted to go to Diamond Head, but once we were in front …

Pearl Harbor

Today we went to North Shore, unfortunately it was raining so we didn’t see much of this part of the island. After we went to do something we really wanted to do, visit Pear Harbor. It was really interesting to go there, we learn a lot about what happened exactly there in 1941. By the way I’m a complete fan of the movie, with Ben Affleck and Josh Hartnett, I still can’t believe my best friend didn’t see this movie. If like her you didn’t see it yet, watch it right now!! The visit was practically sad because one of the former militaries who has been there during the attack was on our visiting tour. They were shooting a documentary about his life, so it was very touching to see him and imagine what he went through. Anyway, if you are into history, it’s definitely something you should do, and even if you are not, some culture never killed nobody right! Ce matin nous sommes allées à North Shore, on n’est pas restées longtemps car …
