Food is always a big part of my every travel I do, as soon as I book my hotel room and my flight tickets I start looking at the restaurants. Stockholm have a large food scenery and it was pretty hard to make a decision on where to go.
I have no regrets on the ones we finally choose to go.
Daily’s café and bistro (http://dailyscafe.se/).
As soon as we arrived in the city we dropped off our suitcases and went straight to brunch at Daily’s café and bistro. The omelet is their specialty, we took the big one and a goat cheese salad to share, I really wish they open one in London.
My favorite brunch was Crème, it’s has been almost a year I am looking forward to go to this place, I was dreaming about the tuna salad and it didn’t disappoint me at all. I wish I could eat this dish every day, I am really into seafood at the moment.
Greasy Spoon (http://www.greasyspoon.se/).
Last brunch was more English than Swedish it was eggs royal but instead of the hollandaise sauce and English muffin they put a beetroot sauce on the top and rusty potatoes at the bottom.
We also had to give a go to the traditional FIKA, which is the equivalent to the tea time here in UK, I took a very good pink cake and Lorene had a cinnamon roll.
Oaxen Slip (https://oaxen.com/oaxen-krog/)
For our first dinner we went to Oaxen Slip, we had to take a boat to this restaurant which was very fun, it’s very close to the amusement park. The place is stunning as you can see on the picture. We had different types of fish and mashed potatoes on a side. We also had a few drinks, dessert and of course a heavy bill.
My favorite dinner was at Supper, one of the mainly thing I really appreciate in all this food place is how the waiters are very kind and helpful. I think here in London it’s very difficult to have a great service even we I hang out in fancy places. At Supper everything was great for the location (1 minute from our hotel), the venue, the food and the drinks. It was the best way to finish this perfect city trip.
