Bondi – Coogee walk

Today we went for an amazing walk from Bondi to Coogee, the weather was excellent, about 66F so we really enjoyed the beautiful blue sky and clear ocean. I was really impressed by the cliff where we were walking on, (better not to be scared of heights). We prefered to climb on the rocks instead of  walking on the trail, it was more fun but more frightening! The entire stroll took us about 2 hours (include the 300 pictures we took), my favorite part was Tamara beach, so pretty!!! I definitely can’t wait to see Sydney during the summer time, should be even prettier than it is right now. To end this beautiful day, what was better than a drama!? Let me explain to you, we were all the way up on the rocks when I saw downstairs, close to the ocean a couple taking pictures right after the wave crashing on the rocks. I looked at my friend and he said, ‘’I know, you want the same picture?’’ He knows me so well… So …

Burger Lover in Sydney part 3

Today was a super warm day and sunny outside, so I enjoyed this great weather to hang out at Darling Harbour and do some shopping. At night we had dinner at Mister Gee Burger truck, it has been a while since my friend wanted to eat there but he was waiting for me… It’s a little bit far from the city (about 30 minutes in bus) and it’s only open Thursday to Saturday, 6 pm to 10 pm, I guess their thing is to create a desire for the costumers. And I want to say it’s working because we went to the opening at 6pm and the line was already very long!! I can’t believe that people were waiting before the opening of the truck for a burger, it’s crazy for me but I think we are not the only ones who wanted to eat in this famous place!! The menu can’t be easier, one choice of burger (bun, steak, ognons, cheese and pickles) in which you can add many toppings, truffle fries and peanut …

Double bay brunch

Another yummy Aussie Brunch for us this morning in Double Bay, I really loved this neighborhood with a lot of stores, beautiful houses, very nice cafes and gigantic palm trees. We decided to enjoy the great weather to eat on the sidewalk of the restaurant Indigo, I ordered a watermelon juice and the french toasts (maple bacon, raspberry jam, maple syrup, honeycomb, seasonal fruit & mascarpone) and my friend took the poached eggs with avocado mash. Our meals were really tasty and we appreciated a lot the location of the restaurant, the table was in the middle of the small street, it was very cute and quiet. After we were done eating, we went to Woolloomooloo, (I just love prononce this name) and went to the famous Harrys cafe de wheels where, even if I was full from my brunch, I order a basket of fries, just because I had to try it… We hung out there for a bit and walked around the harbor and finished our walk with the Botanic Garden, which was very pretty. I …

Welcome to Kangaroo world

To me, one of the most important things to do in Australia, was to see the kangaroos!!! First, I have to say, I ‘m not a pet person at all, I mean I don’t have any feelings with them, that’s why you will never see me with a dog, a cat or anything with hairs. But Kangaroos, how cute are these animals, I really wanted to see them for real, that’s why, my friend found an amazing place to visit them. So we went together to Morisset park, it’s a little bit far away from Sydney (about 3 hours train), but it’s worth it! The closer we got the more nervous and excited I was ! When we finally reached the place I was completely scared to see them, I thought they would be so small, but actually some were really big, it’s very impressive to be close to them, they are very curious, and came straight to see us, looking for food. Unfortunately, we completely forgot about taking any food for them, so if …

Shangri-la night

As you know I love hotels (5 star are always better of course ahah), sometimes I like to spend a night in an hotel room, even when I am in nyc and have an apartment there. I found these experiences so relaxing, be in the hotel and enjoy the spa, the king size bed and the room service… What is better!? So I decided to spend a night in the Shangri-la, an amazing 5 star hotel, close to Harbour Bridge. I got a view of the Opera, an amazing bed and a bathtub. I first chilled a little bit in my room, watching the sunset by the window, listening to  music and look for a restaurant where I could go for dinner. After I enjoyed the spa for a while, was very hard to leave this quiet place (actually not quiet at all, some kids were jumping around !!) It was my best night in Sydney so far, I mean, sleeping in a king size bed, that’s what I call sleep well!! Comme vous le …
